My name is Luiz Fabiano, known in the Jiu-Jitsu world as Fabiano Papel.
I started my Jiu-Jitsu journey at 16 and had to stop training at 18 due to other obligations, spending approximately 10 years away from the mats.
Diagnosed with depression, I was soon advised by doctors to engage in physical activity. Since I hated working out and was not fit to play football, I decided to start training Jiu-Jitsu again.
Black Belt 3rd Degree
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uses leverage and submission techniques to enable a smaller person to defeat a larger opponent, focusing on self-defense, control, and physical and mental conditioning.
Fabiano Papel competed in Charlotte this past weekend and secured his second championship title at the event.
In addition to increasing self-confidence, discipline, and respect, Children's Jiu Jitsu also improves concentration, reduces stress, and develops perseverance.
